BCBGeneration Romper | Manolo Blahnik Shoes (Similar Here) | Rebekah Price Necklace (Similar Here) | Expression Bracelet
I packed my bags and headed over to the sunny west coast for a few weeks — wohoo!
It feels amazing to not have to plan my outfits around a pair of furry boots and a parka.
My goal this trip (besides working, of course… *smirks*) is to try and go to a few new places I’ve never been to. I went to Malibu with my friend Shay a few days ago and had an awesome time. It was my first time in Malibu although I’ve been to Cali a zillion times. I’m thinking Disneyland could also be fun?!?
I got this BCBGeneration Romper a few weeks ago and couldn’t wait to pack it to wear out here. It’s a risky pattern (kind of granny/60s style) but I received many compliments on it and it’s so comfortable.
The shoes need no introduction……..
If any of you have recommendations for shopping, eating or sightseeing let me know!

Loving this style of jumper/romper right now. Not sure if it’s a jumper or romper? Either way, I picked up 1 from Topshop and another from River Island last week. Great to see you rocking it too, in such a fun pattern!

The Roof at the Wilshire Hotel is good for dining and drinks. The restaurant is on the rooftop of the hotel and overlooks the city…really pretty at night; Umami Burger in downtown LA (i like this location better than the rest). As far as shopping, there’s Ventura Blvd in Studio City (a couple vintage and independent stores). The Getty Center museum/exhibit; downtown LA art walk. This is all i can think of at the top of my head. If you want to eat/drink among the locals i know a few places too…depending on what city you’re in.

If you go to Disneyland try to go to Club 33. It’s this secret (but not so secret) restaurant near Pirates of the Caribbean. The food is so-so but the weird old-timey decorations make it worth it, and they have a good wine list. Other than that, if you like seafood and don’t mind getting messy (i.e. messing up your mani) The Boiling Crab on Wilshire in Koreatown is delish and a good lowkey time!

There is nothing wrong with a lil granny-esque outfit every now and then ;)
If you have not been to Balboa Park, please go! Marina del Rey has fun water sports (i.e., kayaking, jet skiing, etc) to do. I love museum row on Wilshire and my FAV salad place is there, Mixt Greens (SUPER YUM!). And you would be surprised on how many great, hidden things can be found to do in LA on Goldstar. I’ve lived here my whole life and am always introduced to something new. And I know not everyone is into musicals, BUT…..Wicked! is coming to town soon, so if you haven’t seen it, go! Enjoy!
